This music box uses the “Kembang Terompet” decoration, featuring an image of the Garuda, also known as Manuk Dadali in Sundanese. This motif is found on batik cloth from the Cirebon area in West Java. The song “Manuk Dadali” contains lyrics with a strong sense of nationalism; this Sundanese-language song was composed by Sambas Mangundikarta and became popular in the 1960s. Kriya Nusantara and Nidec Sankyo Japan collaborated to present it in a creative, aesthetic, and innovative work through this music box.
